How it grew, from the first trees to the harvests of today.

How the orchard took root

  1. 2017

    The land comes back to life

    After three decades lying fallow, the land came back to life. Three years of work followed before the first planting.

  2. 2020

    The orchard takes root

    The first plots went in. The harvest came in 2024, and the orchard has grown by more than ten hectares every year since.

  3. Today

    More than 80 hectares

    The orchard is still growing. Another ten hectares or so of peaches and nectarines are planned.

Pavel Daniel Owner, Ferma Fruct Brabova

The man behind the orchard

Ferma Fruct Brabova grew out of Daniel Pavel’s passion for horticulture and for eating well. His ambition and his care are what have carried the farm forward.

Daniel believes good fruits belong in an ordinary day, not just a special one. So he set out to put fresh, good-tasting, nourishing fruits in front of as many people as he can.

For the orchard at Brabova he chose modern apricot, plum, cherry and pear varieties, bred in Germany and France for taste and aroma.
